Teeth Whitening Bournemouth We offer cosmetic teeth whitening at Dentistry on the Grove

Teeth whitening is probably the simplest and most cost effective way to make an immediate difference to your smile. It is a relatively simple and minimally invasive way to refresh your smile and give a more youthful appearance.

Would you like a bright, youthful looking smile?

We use the Boutique Teeth Whitening system which involves the removal of deep stains and discoloration from teeth, resulting in a brighter, more youthful-looking smile.

Assuming your teeth are heathy and free from cavities, our dentists and hygienists would be delighted to talk you through how it works, and if it would be suitable for you.

Some of our Whitening Results

Teeth whitening can be used on its own to refresh and rejuvenate your smile. Once you have your whitening trays you can touch up your smile at any time.
Whitening is often used as the final step in Smile Makeover journeys, for example after teeth straightening, to make your new smile dazzle!

Would you like to whiten your teeth?

Our reception team would be delighted to answer any questions you have or book you in for an appointment. Or ask your dentist or hygienist about teeth whitening at your next appointment.

Benefits of Teeth Whitening

1

Improved Appearance

Over time, teeth can become discoloured and stained due to factors such as age, tobacco use, and certain foods and drinks. Teeth whitening can help to remove these stains, leaving you with a brighter, more attractive smile

2

Increased Self-Confidence

A brighter smile can also lead to increased self-confidence. When you feel good about the way your teeth look, you are more likely to smile and engage with others. This can have a positive impact on your personal and professional relationships

3

Non-Invasive Procedure

It's a non-invasive procedure that can be performed quickly and easily by a dental professional. Unlike other cosmetic dental procedures, such as veneers or crowns, teeth whitening does not involve any drilling or removal of tooth structure

4

Safe and Effective

Teeth whitening is a safe and effective procedure when performed by a qualified dental professional. There are a variety of options available, including in-surgery treatments and at-home kits. Your dentist can help you choose the option that is best for you

At Dentistry on the Grove, we provide teeth whitening for patients across Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and the surrounding areas.

Given the complex nature of my dentistry requirements she really does excel.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if I’m suitable for teeth whitening?

Your dentist needs to prescribe teeth whitening and they will only do so, provided you have healthy teeth and gums. If you have a cavity you would need to get this treated before commencing teeth whitening

How does teeth whitening work?

Teeth whitening gel works through a chemical process called oxidation, where bleaching agents penetrate your enamel to break down stains. We remove having a hygiene appointment to remove the physical stains and tartar from your teeth before staring the chemical whitening process.

How long does home teeth whitening take?

It depends case be case, but most people notice a big difference in the colour of their teeth after a week to ten days.

Is ‘at home’ whitening with trays better than a once-off whitening in the dental chair?

We recommend home whitening over once-off whitening in the dental chair, as the results are longer lasting. Home whitening is also gentler for people with teeth sensitivity. Home whitening carried out with custom-fit trays for a couple of hours a day over a period of 7 to 10 days. The home whitening gel causes less sensitivity and because it is carried out over a longer period yields a deeper, more even shade
