Jo’s Internal Tooth Bleaching Internal Whitening / Bleaching and Composite Bonding
Jo came to the practice having chipped her front tooth. Not only that, but many years earlier following a trauma where the nerves in two of her front teeth had died, she had needed to have root canals performed on her front teeth. Over the years these teeth had darkened and taken on a greyer colour.
Internal Bleaching and Micro-Bonding with Composite
Following a discussion with her dentist, it was recommended that Jo needed a course of internal bleaching of two of her front teeth to address the darkening from within due to the root canals from years earlier.
Over a course of seven days we did a course of intensive “inside-outside” bleaching on Jo’s teeth, strictly following protocols for internal bleaching. Once the affected front teeth were successfully bleached internally, Jo then whitened her remaining teeth so that all her teeth were the same bright fresh colour.
The final step on the journey was ‘edge bonding’ the edges of Jo’s teeth using composite bonding material to balance her smile. A beautiful result!
