We are delighted to announce that Dr Philip McCauley has partnered with Dentistry on the Grove joining our implant team, bringing his exceptional expertise and over 25 years of experience in implant dentistry to patients across Southbourne, Christchurch and the New Forest.
Meet Philip
Philip graduated from Queen’s University Belfast Dental School in 1999 before gaining valuable surgical experience as a Senior House Officer in the Oral Surgery Department at Poole Hospital. During this time, he developed extensive expertise in dentoalveolar surgery and successfully completed the MFDS examination in 2001.
Following numerous postgraduate courses, including the highly regarded year-long restorative course with Michael Wise in 2004, Philip dedicated his career to oral implantology and to date he has placed over 7,000 implants. He has been placing and restoring dental implants since 2002, when he was awarded the Fellowship of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Range of Implant Treatments at Dentistry on the Grove
Today, Philip provides the full range of implant treatments, from single tooth replacement to complex full-mouth rehabilitation, including all-on-4 and all-on-6 restirations. His expertise includes multiple implant cases, bone augmentation, sinus grafting, and advanced immediate loading techniques for single, multiple, full-arch and full-mouth implant treatments.
Alongside his clinical work, Philip has lectured to fellow dentists on restorative implant dentistry and continues to share his knowledge and experience within the profession.
